A role before a ticker
The proposed token is a coordination mechanism for the protocol — its role must be validated against real demand for accountable data delivery before finalizing supply or distribution
- Service registration — proposed participation requirements for data-service providers
- Protocol governance — proposed control over future protocol parameters and service standards
- Existing commitments — already accepted terms should remain fixed rather than being rewritten by a later governance decision
These roles are design proposals — no registration or governance contract is live
Separate the token from the liability
Reserved collateral defines the limit
A project token price is not a measure of compensation capacity — the liability cap, accepted collateral asset and reserved balance belong to each specific commitment
The initial model uses illustrative USDG units for a separately funded bond and fee — it does not value the proposed token, offer a yield or make an unlimited guarantee
Before a Robinhood Chain launch
| Decision | Required definition |
|---|---|
| Identity | Final token name and symbol, with independent availability checks |
| Supply | Initial supply, minting rights and any future issuance |
| Distribution | Allocations, vesting and recipient addresses |
| Control | Administrative permissions, upgrade rights and governance scope |
| Contracts | Implementation, contract validation, and independent review |
| Market access | Liquidity plan and separate assessment of platform listing availability |
Robinhood Chain mainnet supports EVM deployment — issuing a token on the chain does not put it in the Robinhood App

No production guarantee contract or deposit service is deployed
